Principal's Post
May 2, 2008
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I understand
that we have a celebration this Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. Mass, with reception
following. I have very few details but have been told to enjoy my celebration
with each of you. I look forward to being with you … see you on Sunday. I am so
very touched by your thoughtfulness.
Lifetouch Spring Pictures
Didn’t these pictures turn out beautifully? Wow! What gorgeous kids! I
ask you to return either the check/cash if you wish to purchase, or please
return the picture package to your homeroom teacher.
Deadline: Wednesday, May 7th
Teacher Appreciation Week
May 5th – 9th is National Teacher Appreciation Week. What a perfect time
to write a family letter to your child’s teacher. Please don’t forget our
special teachers also. Our teachers are devoted and dedicated to your
children. They drive their own performance by using the Iowa Teaching Standards
and Benchmarks as their guide. In addition, they follow Diocesan Curriculum
Standards and Benchmarks in all subject areas.
Your letter of commendation would be a great addition to each teacher’s
portfolio. I ask you to devote a special prayer intention for our outstanding
faculty and staff.
