Tuesday and Thursday

$100.00 per month for 10 months

The 2-Day preschool class is an introduction to school. These students will go on to at least one more year of preschool or pre-kindergarten. This class is a great start for children who have not been in a school environment before. The class focuses on colors, shapes, and recognizing numbers 1-5 as well as counting to 10 and reciting the ABC's. Students work on coloring, cutting, gluing, painting, following directions, participating, and getting along well with others. We have daily religion lessons through Bible stories and songs, and we learn how to live like Jesus.


3-Day Preschool

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
8:30 am - 11:05 am
$110.00 per month for 10 months

In this program, many of the children will go on to pre-kindergarten the following year, but there are a few children each year that will go to kindergarten. Students practice all the skills that the 2-day preschool class does. If the child is going to kindergarten, we work on readiness skills. If not, we expose them to readiness skills but we do not expect them to be mastered. We continue to work on social skills, cutting, coloring, and gluing. We also introduce them to letter recognition and writing. We have daily religion lessons through Bible stories and songs, and we learn how to live like Jesus.

This class is a Kindergarten Readiness class using the "Letter People" program. We let the children guide us as to what to work on and how fast. In addition to the social skills taught in the other class, this class works on identifying letters, numbers, shapes, colors, letter sounds, number value, counting by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s. We graph, discuss greater than and less than, odd and even numbers, and simple addition and subtraction. Depending on the child's readiness, we work on sight words and some beginning reading. We start out simple at the beginning of the year and build on what the children all ready know. We also have religion lessons throughout the week.
