The Bean Bag Tournament is fast approaching (November 19) and it’s time to sell Raffle Tickets! Our fundraising goal for the Tournament is $65,000 and every raffle ticket sold contributes to this goal!
In order to encourage EVERY FAMILY to sell raffle tickets, we have a new contest:
For every 30 raffle tickets your family sells,
your name will be entered into a drawing for
$1,000 towards Lourdes Tuition / Fees*!
Would your family join the efforts for this fantastic fall fundraiser and help us raise money to upgrade technology and enhance our faith education?
Please start selling those BASIC and MAJOR raffle tickets right now!See attached flyer for details but remember a few important things:
There are no physical raffle tickets to sell. Simply fill out the “raffle sales form.”
Collect the money upfront and ask purchaser to select their Basic Raffle packages
Electronic copies of the flyers will be emailed home as well – please email these to all your family and friends.
Drawing for Basic and Major raffle will take place at the tournament on Saturday, November 19. Winner need not be present.
“Major” Raffle
The 3 Major Raffle prizes are:
2 tickets to the Tuesday practice round of The Masters Tournament and $400 towards airfare.
4 Club level tickets to the 12/19/11 Bears-Seahawks game and one night in a luxury condo in downtown Chicago.
2 Theater tickets to the show of your choice, $200 American Express gift card, and one night accommodations at the Chicago Renaissance hotel.
When selling MAJOR raffle tickets, indicate the sale on the raffle sales form.If the purchaser is from out of town or received the flyer via email, they can email their request for a MAJOR raffle ticket at lcsraffle@aol.com and mail in their check to the school.
“Basic” Raffle There is nothing “basic” about these great prizes. We really have some things that people will want to win.Rather than mess around with individual tickets, we are using a unique approach to selling these tickets. We are describing our Raffle Ticket Selling process as “buffet style”.
The blank Raffle Ticket Sales form can be completed with purchasers’ name and phone number.
Next, write in the desired number of raffle tickets under the desired Raffle Package. It is similar to the Girl Scout Cookie Sales/ Order form. There are 9 packages to select from (see attached Raffle Package Description Form for complete descriptions).
Collect payment from purchaser (checks made out to Lourdes Home and School),
Turn in the Sales form and money to School Office by Wednesday, November 16.
Actual raffle tickets will be created from the information on the forms and deposited directly into the individual Raffle Package Buckets for the Raffle Drawing (to take place November 19 at the Bean Bag Tournament).
$1,000 Contest
For every 30 raffle tickets sold, your family name will be entered into a drawing for $1,000 towards Lourdes tuition / fees.In addition, all families entered into the drawing will receive a free dress day. Please note the following regarding the contest:
The drawing will take place at the Bean Bag Tournament, Saturday, November 19... winner need not be present to win.

If there is a credit in the family's account and they do not return to Lourdes, it can be designated to another account or it is forfeited to the church/school budget.
Winner will be contacted by School/Church Book Keeper to finalize applied winnings.
